Ruling a slight favorite because of defeats registered against Tabor, Exeter, and Worcester, the Freshman soccer team will travel to Andover this afternoon to play the prep school boys. The game will be called at 3 o'clock.
Allan Darling '37, playing in his usual position at center forward, is expected to star for the visitors. His play throughout the season has been of excellent quality, especially in passing and scoring; in the game with Worcester he tallied three of the four goals made by the Freshmen, and was instrumental in effecting the other.
The Freshmen will start with: Briggs, g.; Holcombe, r.f.b.; Linde, l.f.b.; Bounakes, r.h.b.; Rickard, c.h.b.; Burbank, l.h.b.; Parsons, r.o.f.; Morgan, r.i.f.; Darling, c.f.; Fujino, l.i.f.; Wood, l.o.f.
While the Freshmen are playing Andover this afternoon, the latter's deadliest rival, Exeter, will meet the Harvard Jayvee soccer team at Exeter. The Freshman team has already defeated the New Hampshire boys, 5-1, and the Jayvees hope to duplicate the feat.
The starting line-up for Harvard will be: Nichols, g.; Grey, r.f.b.; Chase, l.f.h.; Stern, r.h.b.; Thacher, c.h.b.; Kellog, l.h.b.; Dawson, r.o.f.; Seeman, r.l.f.; Clark, c.f.; Kelley, l.i.f.; Kandolan, l.o.f.
