150th Anniversary Exercises Held at Sanders Theatre

Reproducing in part the ceremonies which took place a century and a half ago when the first professors of the Medical School were inaugurated, exercises were held Saturday in Sanders Theatre in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Medical School.

Among those who attended the exercises were President Conant and President Emeritus Lowell, in their first public appearance together, since he election of President Conant. Others present were the members of the Corporation, the Board of Overseers, and the council of the Medical Alumni Association.

University officials, guests and students assembled in the Yard at 10.30 o'clock, and then marched in double file through the Yard to Sanders Theatre.
