Senator David I. Walsh and Dr. Alfons Goldschmidt, an economics professor exiled from Germany, will speak to the Harvard Liberal Club at two separate meetings this week.
"Hitler and Fascism" will be the topic of Dr. Goldschmidt at the meeting in the Lowell House Common Room at 8 o'clock Thursday. Goldschmidt, who once taught at the University of Leipzig, has been lecturing at the University of Mexico for the past three years, but is now attempting to organize a University League against Fascism.
Senator Walsh will speak to the club on Friday evening in the Adams House Upper Common Room. Arthur N. Holcombe '06, professor of Government, will preside. Senator Walsh is expected to address the Liberal Club on some phase of the National Recovery Administration.
An informal dinner for Walsh is planned for members of the organization and representatives of the faculty in the Adams House dining hall preceding the address.
