Jayvee Soccer Team Bows to Bradford-Durfee Tech, 3-0

Nichols, Crimson Goalie, Makes Several Saves in Hard-Fought Game

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Failing in an attempt to break the winning streak of their opponents, the Jayvee soccer team lost to the team from the Bradford-Durfee Technical School, 3-0, yesterday afternoon. The Tech scores came in the first, second, and third periods. The only outstanding player was William F. Nichols '34, the Harvard goalie, who made many fine saves. Showing potential power, the Jayvee forward line often carried the ball into the engineers' territory, but the drive to score was lacking.

The summary:

Bradford-Durfee: Morris, g; Shea, Cushman, r.f.b.; Doran, l.f.b.; Cullen, r.h.b.; Kozak, c.h.b.; Johnson, Moore, l.h.b.; Hinchley, r.o.f.; Harrison, r.i.f.; Gardella, c.f.; Desmond, l.i.f.; Nannerg; Leary, l.o.f.

Harvard: Nichols, Wallaco, g.; Fuller, l.f.b.; Chase, r.f.b.; Kellogg, l.h.b.; Thacher, c.h.b.; Roosevelt, r.h.b.; Kelley, Fraley, l.o.f.; Kandoian, Russell, l.i.f.; Clark, e.f.; Seeman, r.i.f.; Fraley, Dawson, r.o.f.
