CHOATE AND ADZIGIAN PROMOTED TO VARSITY

At the close of a rainy, mud-splashed practice yesterday afternoon it was revealed that Arthur Choate and John Adzigian will almost certainly be in the starting lineup when the Varsity meets Dartmouth this Saturday.

Choate's promotion to the starting position at left end to replace Walter White was regarded as fixed, while the only doubt concerning Adzigian's right to a steady job at left half back was caused by the possibility that Pesky might be sent into the starting lineup at the last minute if Harvard is at the receiving end of the kickoff.

Practice yesterday started with a demonstration of Dartmouth plays in the cage. The Second Varsity represented the Green, which Coach Johnny Donovan scouted on Saturday. The first-stringers went up to the balcony above the playing floor of the cage to get a bird's eye of the plays and passes they will have to stop this weekend. After that practice was moved to the outside field despite the rain. Choate and Walers were excused from practice, but the entire squad was reported as physically ready for action.
