At the opening meeting of the Harvard University Rifle Club held last night in the Eliot House Senior common room 50 men turned out, and brief, talks on the club's activities were given by members of the executive committee.
Shooting will begin at the Walnut Hill range today, it was announced. No .30 calibre matches will take place until spring, but a .22 team may be formed to shoot on the Stadium range. The club has 8,000 rounds of .30 calibre ammunition on hand and 10,000 of .22.
The executive committee for the coming year will consist of nine members.
