To the Editor of the CRIMSON:

I wax poetical over your swell editorial on the Eliot House tutors' table.

In the beginning Lowell created Eliot House

And Eliot House was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the front of Eliot House. And the spirit of Lowell moved upon Eliot House.

And Lowell said, Let there be Merriman: and there was Merriman.

And Low ell saw Merriman, that he was good: and Lowell divided Merriman from Coolidge.

And Lowell called Merriman, Frisky, and Coolidge--well, just Coolidge. And Frisky and Coolidge were made House masters.

And Lowell said, Let there be tutors in the midst of Eliot House, and let them be divided from the students.

And Lowell made the tutors, and divided the students which were under the tutors by establishing the tutors' table.

And Lowell called the tutors' table, Heaven.

Send me one thousand reprints of your editorial--we can use them for napkins for the tutors' table, and they will serve as a constant reminder of their evil ways. V. H. Kramer '35.
