Getting back into trim after the letdown during the holidays, the Varsity and Freshman Polo Squads held their first practice Wednesday afternoon, preparatory to the impending match between the Freshmen and the Jayvees, at the Commonwealth Armory tomorrow night.
After their impressive victory over the 51st Artillery Brigade, the yearlings are favored to overcome the Varsity Seconds, and stand a good chance of wresting the junior title from the defending Battery A this winter. The game, tomorrow night, is sure to be a hard-fought one in any event, since the Jayvee team is the strongest in years.
