HORSEMEN VICTORS IN EASY WESTWOOD MATCH

51st ARTILLERY VICTORIOUS OVER JAYVEES, 14-7 1/2

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Disappointing many spectators who expected to see a close, tense match, the Varsity polo team crushed the immediate hopes of the Westwood polo team for the Senior Indoor Championship by defeating them 13 1-2 to 1 1-2 at the Commonwealth Armory in the feature match last Saturday night.

Crimson Rally in Fifth

For the first four chukkers, the play was even, and gave evidence of a drawn-out struggle, but in the fifth period, the lightweight Varsity took on a spirit of team-work that characterized their win over the Cavalry last week, and cutting down the Westwood defence, scored seven times in rapid succession, Nicholas leading his Crimson riders with four tallies.
