Final schedules for the quarter-finals of the Ames competition for the second-year law men were announced late yesterday at Austin Hall.
The competitors in the quarter-final round are those who won out in the five weeks competition of last fall. Eight second-year clubs now remain in the race. The winners of these arguments will meet in the semi-finals next fall, and the finals will be held the following spring.
The following is the schedule for the eight clubs which have earned the right to argue in the quarter-final round:
1. Bryce vs. Lowell; Argument, Tuesday, February 7; Chief Justice; W. B. Leach Jr., '21, professor of Law.
2. Choate vs. Edward Warren, Argument. Thursday, February 9; Chief Justice; S. P. Simpson, professor of Law.
3. J. Smith vs. Pow-Wow, Argument, Tuesday, February 14, Chief Justice; Calvert Magruder, professor of Law.
4. Scott vs. Wilson, Argument, Thursday, February 16, Chief Justice; Dean Pound.
