NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

By virtue of a resignation, W. B Tabler '36 will be the drum major of the Harvard Band this year. Tabler halls from Momence, Illinois, where he was a champion baton thrower. Last year W. J. Lloyd '33 was elected leader, but due to the pressure of his studies he was forced to resign.

At the first turnout of the year, 120 men came out for the band, which indicates a good season. The band is fortunate in having Leroy Anderson 4G return as musical director for the Wednesday night rehearsals. The Friday drill practice will be headed by G. V. Slade 1L.

The famous white sailor hat that characterized the band for many seasons will return as a part of the band uniform this year.
