SODALITY CHOOSES NEW OFFICERS AND MEMBERS

Holmes Will Conduct Orchestra Next Year in Place of Woodworth--Rhodes, Mateyo, Covell, Ivory Made Officers

At a recent meeting of the Pierian Sodality of 1808 officers were elected for 1932-1933, the one-hundred and twenty-fifth anniversary year of the Orchestra. At the same meeting 11 new members were elected upon a basis of a year's playing with the Orchestra. M. H. Holmes '28 will be the conductor of the Orchestra for next year in the absence of G. W. Woodworth '24, who has been granted leave of absence from the University. Holmes has been assistant conductor of the Orchestra for the last two years.

Next year's officers are: President, Timothy Rhodes '33; Vice-President, G. K. Mateyo '34; Secretary, R. R. Covell '35; Treasurer-Manager, Austin Ivory '34.

The new members are: E. C. Bald, Jr. '34, A. F. Bixby 1G., P. L. Boardman 1G., R. R. Covell '35, J. L. Helmuth '34, H. B. Hill '35, P. B. Kenyon '35, R. M. Leighton '35, G. K. Mateyo '34, G. W. Pierce 2L., and Robert Rusch '34.
