Kirkland Defeats Lowell, Adams Beats Winthrop in Games Yesterday

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Kirkland House was victorious over Lowell, 11-10, in an extra-inning game on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon, while Winthrop House went down to defeat before Adams, 9-1. In the first contest, Kirkland tied the count by scoring four runs in the sixth inning at 10-all and forced the extra inning, in which it succeeded in putting over the winning run. Adams held Winthrop powerless and allowed only one run. The victory of Adams House makes its position of leader of the House league more secure with four wins in as many starts.
