Ithaca, N. Y., May 25--In a time trial Tuesday, the Cornell Varsity crew, showing great improvement since the Yale race last Saturday, easily defeated the Jayvee eight over the two mile course. The Freshman shell has also been showing up well with times closely approaching those of the Jayvee boat.
