Adams House, which last week won the championship of the inter-House league by defeating the runner-up, Kirkland, 6-0, was beaten yesterday on Soldiers Field, 6-3, by the Mechanics Arts High School of Boston, in an exciting and well-played game, when the visitors pushed across two runs in the third to break the tie. Adams House will meet the Yale champion class team tomorrow.
