In the last scheduled match before its closing game against Yale, the University tennis team will meet Holy Cross on the Divinity Courts at 2.30 o'clock this afternoon. The Freshman netmen will also play their next to last match, with Exeter, at the same place, beginning half an hour later.
With an impressive string of victories to its credit, the University team stands a good chance of duplicating the record of last year's netmen, having lost only the match with North Carolina. After defeating the Crimson team 6-3, the Tarheels won a decisive 8-1 victory at New Haven on the following day.
Holy Cross has halved its matches with four opponents this spring, defeating Assumption 7-1 and Middlebury 8-1, but dropping 5-4 contests to St. Joseph's and Worcester Tech.
On the Freshman team, Coach Cowlea will use the following men against Exeter: No. 1, Whitbeck; No. 2, Ingalls; No. 3. Rodman; No. 4. Wilkinson; No. 5, Baughman; No. 6, Ewer.
