HOLST TO BE HONORED IN GLEE CLUB CONCERT

BRASS SECTION OF SYMPHONY TO ASSIST IN ONE NUMBER

In a joint concert with the Radcliffe Choral Society, the Glee Club will honor Gustav Holst, famous English composer, in Sanders Theatre tonight at 8.30 o'clock. Several numbers composed by Holst have been included in the program, and it is planned to have these conducted by their composer.

The remainder of the program will be under the direction of Dr. A. T. Davison '05 and G. W. Woodworth '24. This union with the Choral Society is the first since the Bach B-minor Mass was presented in Symphony Hall during the afternoon and evening of Easter.

The program will consist of the following pieces: "St. Paul's Suite," by Gustav Holst: "On the Plains, Fairy Trains," by Thomas Weelkes; "Five Love Songs," by Brahms; "Adoramus Te," by Palestrina; "Fire, Fire, My Heart," by Thomas Morley; and "I Will not Leave You Comfortless," by William Byrd.

Other Hoist Arrangements

The other arrangements of Holst to be rendered include: "The Shores of Harvard," "A Dirge for Two Veterans," "I Love My Love," "Hecuba's Lament," "Swansea Town," "Before Sleep," and "Psalm CXLVIII."

The brass section of the Boston Symphony Orchestra will be present to play the musical accompaniment of one number, "A Dirge for Two Veterans."

Tentative dates for the three Yard concerts which are given annually from hte steps of the College Library have been announced as successive Tuesday evenings beginning May 10 and concluding with a program on May 24. The Glee Club will join voices with Smith College in a concert to be given in Northampton, Saturday, May 7.
