RETURN OF MISSING CLAPPER EXPECTED WITHIN 72 HOURS

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The clapper of the bell in Memorial Hall which was stolen at the beginning of the week has not as yet been discovered, and the University authorities who are seeking to find the culprits have no definite information as to the clapper's whereabouts.

Charles Apted, Superintendent of Caretakers, stated last night that he expected the return of the bell within 72 hours, and it was learned from his office that he had a fairly good idea of the identity of the miscreants.
