In the annual senior questionnaires which were mailed to members of the graduating class yesterday, are contained the usual questions concerning courses which the student "regretted taking" and those which he found his "favorite" or "most essential" courses. Although these topics have been in the past circulars, the University has not attached sufficient importance to the opinions expressed and these opinions have not been given the publicity which might enable the undergraduate to profit from them.
Answers to previous questionnaires have shown that seniors give serious consideration to the subjects. The considered opinion, moreover, of men who have spent four years taking Harvard courses could be invaluable to the administration in its attempts to improve the curriculum and to determine the value of particular courses to students.
Realizing the value of the ideas expressed in answer to the questionnaire, the CRIMSON will print anonymously in its columns some of the representative opinions. The value of these published opinions can be increased if seniors will give even greater care to the formulation of their statements this year. The University should give deserved consideration to this intelligent criticism.
