SEASONGOOD IS SELECTED TO DELIVER GODKIN LECTURES

Cincinnati Mayor Will Give Series in Memory of E. L. Godkin

Murray Seasongood '00, mayor of Cincinnati from 1926 through 1930, will deliver the Godkin lectures during the year 1932-33, according to announcement made recently. The Godkin lectures are made possible by an endowment given to the University in 1903 by the friends of Edwin L. Godkin, and are devoted to some part of the subject "The Essentials of Free Government and the Duties of the Citizen."

Mr. Seasongood is at present a member of the law firm of Paxton and Seasongood in Cincinnati, chairman of the city planning commission of that city, and president of the Cincinnati Legal Aid Society. He also holds a number of other positions in support of public welfare.
