ARMY AND NAVY REPRESENTED AT MILITARY BALL TONIGHT

Lillian Roth to Sing and Dance During Intermission at 12.30 O'Clock

Representatives of the Harvard Military and Naval Science Departments and of the Army and Navy will attend the fourth annual Harvard Military Ball to be given at the Copley-Plaza Hotel tonight.

By last minute arrangements the Executive committee has procured Lillian Roth, popular stage and screen actress to appear at the dance as well as to sing during the dinner at 12.30 o'clock. Miss Roth was star of the Vanities last year, and has just completed a vaudeville contract, and has previously played in the movies and on Broadway.

W. P. Elwell '32 is chairman of the committee, and A. H. Parker, Jr. '32, and W. L. Thompson '32 will be head ushers. The ushers will be Hugh Brown '32, Eustis Dearborn '32, N. W. Kimball '32, W. F. Luton '33, L. G. Robinson '32, and J. A. Walsh '32 of the Military Science Department; and D. W. B. Brown '32, F. S. Cheever '32, G. R. Clark '32, R. M. Faxon '32, M. J. Finlayson '32, and N. P. Hallowell '32 of the Naval Science Department.

The receiving line will be composed of General and Mrs. Fox Connor, Colonel and Mrs. L. C. Brinton, Colonel and Mrs. Grant, Colonel and Mrs. O. L. Spaulding, and Colonel and Mrs. W. F. Sturgill for the Military Department; and Commander R. C. Williams and Mrs. B. Wygant, Captain C. A. Abele, Captain and Mrs. J. B. Gay, Lieutenant Commander and Mrs. C. S.
