WINTHROP DINERS AGITATING FOR EARLY HOUSE BANQUET

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Disconsolate residents of winthrop House have banded together in an attempt to have their House dinners hold at an earlier hour. Over 75 hungry men have signed a petition requesting the House authorities to begin the next dinners at 6 instead of 6.30 o'clock. Students allege that their whole plan of life is thrown into chaos by a late dinner followed by some talk in the Common Room.

Not only does the present arrangement interfere with digestion, delay preparations for the next day's work, and prevent early retiring, but also makes engagements the evening of the dinner, if not impossible, inconveniently late. Thus far House authorities have not made any statement concerning the matter.
