Two of Harvard's three entries in the championships of the Eastern Intercollegiate Swimming Association qualified in the preliminaries held yesterday afternoon and evening in the Navy pool. Captain B. S. Wood '33 will race in the 440-yard and 220-yard swims, and E. E. Stowell '34 in the back stroke, when the finals are run off tonight. Fallen tied two other contestants for first place in the preliminaries, all three breaking the existing intercollegiate record.

Wood, winner of the quarter mile last year, is one of the three swimmers defending championships titles at Annapolis.
