NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In a practice game played yesterday at Briggs Cage, team A of the baseball squad, was defeated by team B by the score of 2 to 0. No teams have been definitely selected but will be chosen when outdoor practice begins. A cut of the squad is expected this week.

The men playing on team A were: Thacher 3b., Lupien r.f., Laughlin s.s., Lockwood 1b., Jantzen 2b., Locke c.f., Curran l.f., Frend c., and Vogel and Boyer p.

Team B was composed of: Ware r.f., Lupien c.f., McTigue 2b., Sheldon and Murmes c., Devens and McJennett p., Delano l.f., Fincke 1b., Kutzer s.s., and Campana and Mays 3b. Lupien and McJennett made the two hits for team B. Locke batted well on the A nine.

The lineups for these teams are not significant as the teams are picked to be as nearly equal in strength as possible. Practice games such as this one will be held throughout the week. Outdoor practice will begin as soon as weather conditions permit.
