LIBERAL CLUB SENDS FIVE MEN TO CHICAGO CONGRESS

Attend National Student Conference Against War

Under the sponsorship of the Liberal Club and the National Students' Congress against War, with which the club has become affiliated, a committee of students has been chosen to attend the meeting of the congress in Chicago on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, December 27, 28, and 29.

On Monday, December 12, the Liberal Club will also conduct a symposium on the subject of the imminence of war, which will be led by Sherwood Anderson. The committee which will attend the conference is composed of: E. Y. Hartshorne '33, L. M. Kaufman 1G.B. M. S. Knowles '34, Just Lunning 1G.B., and Peregrine White '33.

This congress is international in its scope, having had its inception last summer in Europe as a Congress Against War.
