COWLES MAKES FIRST SELECTION OF SQUADS

TOURNAMENTS NOW IN PROGRESS AID IN FURTHER SELECTION

Twenty upperclassmen and 23 Freshmen have been selected by Coach Harry Cowles to comprise the Varsity and Freshman squash squads. The selections made are temporary, and men who are now on the squad may be demoted, or other men added, later.

Two tournaments are now in progress, one for all upperclassmen who have not been selected for the squad, and the other for these same men and also the members of the Varsity squad. These tournaments will enable the coach to ascertain which men, who are not on the squad, should be promoted, and if there are any, which men who are at present on the squad should not be there.

The men selected for the Varsity squad are: H.V. Blaxter '33, L.A. Breek '34, A. H. Bryan '35, J. G. Cornish ocC, Archibald Cox, Jr. '34, S. E. Davenport, III '34, W. S. Emmet '34, Marshal Fabyan, Jr. '34, J. R. Fetcher '33, G. H. Hartford, II '34, S. G. Haskins '35, A. deB. Lyon '35, E. E. Mitchell '34, Huntington Thom '35, T. W. Thorndike '35, J. B. Walker, Jr. '33, G. P. Webber '33, F. P. Whitbeck '35, N. T. Winthrop '34, and F. L. Young 2nd. '33.

The following Freshmen have been chosen for the squad: G. A. Bramwell, R. L. Bentley, T. D. Boardman, J. L. Clark, W. L. Clark, Richard Cobb, G. S. Franklin, R. W. Gilder, G. G. Glidden, G. V.
