CLASSICAL CLUB PLANS FOR "PHILOCTETES" PRESENTATION

Rand Discusses Greek Production With Members of Club

Plans for the Classical Club's forthcoming production of the "Philoctetes" of Sophocles were discussed at a meeting of the club last night in the small common room of Kirkland House.

E.K. Rand '94, professor of Latin, discussed with members of the club his experiences with past productions of Greek and Latin plays and E.C. Wiest '30 spoke about the music of "Philoctetes," which he rehearsed with members of the chorus after the meeting.

Officers of the club for the coming year elected at the meeting include Mason Hammond '25, instructor in Greek and Latin, president; and Herbert Howe '84, treasurer.
