SQUAD WORKS OUT IN SNAPPY DRILL ON PASSING GAME

West Point Eleven Will Practice in Stadium Today--Coach Sasse on Last Trip to Harvard

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

University coaches cheered up a little yesterday as they ran their players through the liveliest session of the week and the next to last practice before tomorrow's clash with West Point, for which a capacity crowd is expected with 47,000 tickets already sold out.

The entire squad turned out on the field yesterday, but Hallowell and Dean are still questionable for the starting lineup, which will not be definitely announced until tonight. Grady is also on the doubtful list, but Dr. Thorndike will probably pronounce all three players as fit for the game.

Peppy Drill

Considerably more snap and pep was evinced by the Varsity players yesterday as they went through an extensive drill on blocking and ran through the plays which they expect to use against Army. After the usual fundamentals, Coach Casey gave his men a long drill on their own forward passes and against the Army's. Later the Seconds put on a series of West Point plays for the benefit of the Varsity squad.

The Army football team arrived last night about 9 o'clock and went directly to the Belmont Spring Country Club. The West Point players will run through a light workout in the Stadium today at 3 o'clock.

Coach Sasse, in his last trip to Harvard as the Cadets' coach, will undoubtedly put plenty of pressure on the Crimson secondary defense which proved so weak against Brown, and the Crimson players expect many passes.

The lineups:

Team A--Nazro, Wolcott, l.e.; Hardy, l.t.; Esterly, l.g.; Casey, c.; Gundlach, r.g.; Bancroft, r.t.; Hageman, Bartol, r.e.; Wells, q.; Nevin, r.h.b.; Crickard, Grady, Pescosolido, l.h.b.; Gleason, Dean, f.b.

Team B--Lowe, l.e.; Rogers, l.t.; Healey, l.g.; Lockwood, c.; Crane, r.g.; Francisco, r.t.; Cassedy, r.e.; Whitney, q.; Barrett, r.h.b.; Locke, l.h.b.; Waters, f.b.
