A Dental School alumni and Faculty smoker will be held on Tuesday at 8 o'clock at the Dental School. The Smoker is intended as a reception and homecoming welcome for L.M.S. Miner, Dean of the Dental School, who will return shortly from an extended trip to the Pacific Coast.

Dean Miner will address those present, speaking at length about his trip and the various meetings which he attended. While away Dean Minor spoke principally at the fifteenth anniversary celebration of the founding of the University of California Dental School. He also addressed the California Association of Oral Surgeons and the San Francisco District Society. Carrying with him, as well, a personal message of greeting from President Lowell, Dean Miner also spoke on "The Future of Dental Education at Harvard" to the members of the Harvard Club of San Francisco.
