CERCLE FRANCAIS ENDS TRIALS FOR FALL PLAYS

Casts of "Serenade" and "Le Medecin Malgre Lui" Selected--Debutantes To Act

Selection has been made of the casts for "Serenade," and "Le Medecin Malgre Lui," which the cercle Francais will give as its fall production on the evenings of Wednesday and Thursday, December 7 and 8 at Brattle Hall. The latter play is the work of the great French author, Moliere, while "Serenade," was written by a Harvard graduate who prefers to remain anonymous. As has been the custom for the last few years, the club has invited several Boston Debutantes to take part in the performances.

The cast for "Le Medecin Malgre Lui" is as follows: Geronte, J. P. Squire '33; Leandre, W. W. Birge '35; Sganarelle, R. D. Merian 1 G; Robert, B. H. Goldsmith '33, Valero, Harrison Wood '36; Lucas, R. C. De Long '36; Thibault, J. D. Kernan '34; Lucinde, Lesilo Blake; Martino, Mary Loring; and Perrino, Lorvalue Warnor. The following will act in "Seranado"; Marquis do Gavennes, J. S. Plaut '33; DeFayollo, Harrison Wood '36; Mlle, de Pierreneuve, Mrs. Nell Phillips; and, a servant, Mary Cleveland.

Mrs. G. R. Agassiz and Mrs. fuller Albright had the list of sponsors for the plays.
