CONANT TO LECTURE ON CHURCH ARCHITECTURE

Noted Professor Just Returned From Sixth Summer in Europe-Talks to Be Held in Fogg Museum

A series of public lectures on Byzantine Church Architecture by Professor K. J. Conant '15, associate professor of architecture has just been announced. Professor Conant has just returned from his sixth consecutive summer in Europe, where he continued his excavations at the mediaeval monastery of Cluny in France. He also visited Serbia and Renmania to study the churches of the later Byzantine tradition.

The lectures, which will be illustrated, are to be given in the large lecture hall of the Fogg Art Museum at 4.30 o'clock. Titles and dates are as follows: November 1. "The Growth of the Byzantine Style": November 8. "The Later Byzantine Style in Greek Lands": November 15. "The Church Buildings of the Southern Slavs": November 22. "Russian Church Architecture."
