In reply to a letter sent to him by the CRIMSON, Hamilton Fish Jr. '10, Representative from New York, stated yesterday that he was not planing to organize a Congressional investigation of student radicals this season. He said, however, that he was "much disgusted with the spread of socialism in Harvard University." According to Mr. Fish there is no room in this country for "this foreign importation," country to all American principles and ideals.
"There are still many evils and abuses under our economic and industrial system, which should be eliminated. However, in spite of the abuses, it is still the best in the world," said Mr. Fish. "And our Republican form of government is by for the soundest, safest, wisest, most honorable and best devised by the mind of man and under it the American people have been the freest and most contented on earth."
