HARVARD CLUB AWARDS MADE TO 40 FRESHMEN THIS YEAR

Weltz Wins Scholarship Awarded By Associated Clubs

Forty Freshmen are holders of scholarships from Harvard Clubs throughout the United States, it is announced by the committee on scholarships. The total amount of the awards in $17,325.

Outstanding among the 40 awards is that of the Associated Harvard Clubs, the central organization for Harvard Clubs throughout the country. This award, open to applicants from every state, has been made to F. A. Welty '36, of Dubois, Wyoming, a graduate of the Wyoming University preparatory school.

Scholarhships have been awarded by a total of 24 Harvard Clubs. The largest award is that of the Harvard Club of New York City which has selected five scholarship holders.
