Three cross country races are planned for this afternoon; a triangular race between Harvard, Dartmouth and the University of New Hampshire; a Freshman race between Harvard and New Hampshire; and the open Intercollegiates, to be contested by six New England colleges. The Intercollegiate race is scheduled for 2.30 o'clock; the Freshman race for 3.45 o'clock; and the triangular race for 4 o'clock.
The triangular race is expected to be close since the New Hampshire team, which won the New England Intercollegiates last year, lost only one man by graduation. Quimby, a Dartmouth man, won the Freshman race against Harvard last year by a wide margin and is expected to do well this afternoon. Coach Jaakko Mikkola expects a good showing.
