APTED PLAYING LONE HAND IN PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN

"I wouldn't put myself in a class with anything," said Major C. R. Apted '06, of the Yard Police, reached at a late hour last night when asked whether he considered himself in a class with Norman Thomas and William Z. Foster, minor candidates for president.

The question arose out of the one vote cast for Major Apted in the CRIMSON poll at the Union yesterday. This vote aroused considerable speculation, as it was not known that Apted was a candidate.
