VARSITY ELEVEN HOLDS EASY MORNING WORKOUT

Light workouts characterized yesterday morning's practice for the Varsity A and B elevens, while the third string ground through a scoreless defensive scrimmage with the Second Varsity. The Jayvees had the ball for about half an hour, with the third team taking it at the end for five minutes.

There are as yet no changes in the first team lineup which will face Penn State in the Stadium this Saturday, although Casey alternated with Hallowell yesterday in running through signal drill at center.

Today a dummy scrimmage will be put on against Penn State plays. According to latest reports, the Nittany Lions played under wraps last Saturday when beaten by Waynesburg, and only put on three different plays in the whole first half. Whenever the Penn State players attempted any new shifts, the stands would roar, "Save it for Harvard."

Crickard takes his Psychology makeup examination this morning and has been studying hard for it during the past week, turning up for brif workouts at Soldiers Field. The grade should be in within two days.

The lineup: Team C. Werner, l.e.; Kidder, l.t.; Scott, l.g.; Cullen, c.; Schumann, r.g.; Dow, r.t.; Wolcott, r.e.; Peter, q.b.; Leonard, l.h.b.; Hurlbut r.h.b.; Ferry, f.b.
