ADAMS MUSIC ROOM OPENS

Soundproof Walls Surround Recording Phonograph, Piano, Radio

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A baby grand piano and a combination recording phonograph and radio have been placed in the newly opened Adams House music room for the use of House members. The room, on the ground floor of the new Russell Hall, is virtually soundproof, and is the only one of its type in any House.

A library of phonograph records has been begun, and additions will be made from time to time upon recommendation of House members. It is expected that the room will also be used for vocal and instrumental practicing. Organization of an informal House orchestra is being contemplated.
