SIGMA ALPHA EPSILON TOPS INDOOR BASEBALL LEAGUE

Hard Battle Fought to Gain One-Point 14-13 Victory Over Alpha Sigma

In a hard-fought, closely contested fraternity indoor baseball game last night Sigma Alpha Epsilon downed Kappa Sigma by the slender margin of 14 to 13. The game between the champions of the Alpha and Beta leagues see-sawed back and forth until the teams went into a tie in the seventh; the deadlock lasted until the last of the ninth.

The members of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon team were P. M. Essig '33, catcher; J. T. Lees '33, pitcher; F. J. Jeffers '33, 1st base; Stewart Neill '32, outfield; A. R. Carnduff '33, 3rd base; R. C. Wells '33, outfield.

The members of the Kappa Sigma team were J. S. Hartwell '32, outfield; J. D. Vail '32, 3rd base; G. H. Pattison '32, 1st base; D. A. Herman '32, outfield; J. C. Campbell '33, pitcher; H. M. Graff '34, catcher.
