The championship Mexican basketball team, which was scheduled to play here today, will not appear in Cambridge it was announced by the Harvard Athletic Association yesterday. The home town, strength, and general identity of the Mexican quintet has always been clouded in mystery hereabouts, the only definite statement available on the playing of the team being that it had won 37 out of 39 contests in the last two years.
