EXAMINATIONS HINDER CREWS IN EASY PRACTICE

(Special to the Harvard CRIMSON)

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Harvard Crew Headquarters, Red Top, Conn., June 4-With a probable time trial scheduled for the University eight this coming Saturday, the Crimson squad was today put through the lightest practice which it has encountered since it came to Red Top. The fact that most of the oarsmen had to take examinations this afternoon prevented them from taking their usual afternoon paddle on the Thames.

The morning practice consisted, for the Freshman and Combination crews, of an easy row down to the start of the two mile course, followed by a paddle up this distance. The University and Jayvee boats covered the same territory, but raised the stroke over the course.
