Sixty-four members of the Harvard Glee Club will journey to Northampton today to participate in the annual joint concert with the Smith College Glee-Club. The Club will leave Cambridge at 1 o'clock, arriving at Northampton in time for a later afternoon rehearsal with the Smith chorus.
Dr. A.T. Davison '06 will share conducting honors with Mr. Gorokhoff, director of the Smith Glee Club. The program will include two groups of three selections by each of the clubs, and three numbers in conjunction: "Gospodi Pormluy", a Russian anthem, "Upon the Day of Judgment", and "Cum Sancto Spiritu", part of Back's B Minor Mass, which the Harvard Glee Club performed in March at Symphony Hall.
The succeeding concerts by the Glee Club will include performances at the Boston Fine Arts Museum, on May 12; three Yard concerts, probably on the Wednesday evenings, May 13, 20, and 27; and the annual pops concert on May 25.
