Both of the Harvard soccer teams were defeated on Saturday afternoon. The Argonauts of Revere barely nosed out one of the Harvard aggregations, 3 to 2, while a lineup composed chiefly of graduates overwhelmed the other Crimson team by a score of 5 to 1.
In the first game A. T. T. Schumacher '33 opened the scoring for Harvard with a goal after a few minutes of play. The Argonauts followed with two more tallies, but the count was evened up by Captain elect H. H. Broadbent '32 in the early part of the second half.
The playing in the second game was considerably more ragged than that in the first one. Several Harvard men who had played in the first encounter also took part in the following one Six of last season's letter men played in the opening match.
