LOWELL-DUNSTER TEAMS TO MEET IN FOUR SPORTS

Baseball, Track, Tennis, Rugby Teams to Clash This Spring--Dark Horse Dunster Crew May Challenge

A. W. Samborski '26, director of intramural sports, has announced the spring schedule for baseball, track, and tennis meets between Dunster and Lowell House. Except for the second round of intramural rugby that has yet to be played, these three sports will comprise all the spring intramural activities.

The track meet will be the first of the three to take place and has been scheduled for May 12. No definite man has been assigned to coach the teams, but an assistant University coach will always be down on Soldiers Field to help any candidate for the Dunster or Lowell House teams.

May 14 is the date set for the Lowell-Dunster baseball game. Practice will be held on the class diamond under the direction of Earl Evans '25. Tournaments on the Business School or Jarvis Field tennis courts will decide upon the intramural tennis teams, the final matches to be played on May 19.

As far as crew is concerned it is not known at present whether or not the two houses will clash on the water again. The Dunster boat that started the season disbanded immediately following its defeat by the Lowell oarsmen, while the winners have continued their daily training workouts: another Dunster boat, however, completely revamped, and not containing any of the other crew's constituents appeared on the river last week. Whether or not the new Dunster boat is being groomed to challenge Lowell's supremacy on the Charles could not be ascertained last night.
