APRIL 9 IS DATE CHOSEN FOR FRESHMAN SMOKER IN UNION

On Thursday, April 9, the Freshman Smoker will be held in the Harvard Union, it was announced yesterday by A. O. Choate, Jr. '34, chairman of the Smoker Committee for the first year men. President Lowell and T. W. Nazro '34, president of the Freshman Class, will both address the gathering.

At present it is expected that each unit of the Freshman Instrumental Clubs will perform at the Smoker. There is also a possibility that movies may be given, and other speakers are being considered. The definite time for the affair has not yet been determined, although it is to take place in the evening.
