Three Week Spring Soccer Practice to Begin Today

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Spring soccer practice will begin this afternoon at Soldiers Field. Coach Carr announced that there would be opportunity for new men to learn the fundamentals of the game, and he urges members of the Freshman soccer squad, who intend to try out for the University soccer team, to attend spring practice so that they may become acquainted with the style of playing which is required of the University squad.

He expects all members of the squad, except those who are out for some spring sport, to attend practice. Spring practice will not be conducted under the pressure which is characteristic of fall practice. There will be plenty of scrimmages, and several informal games with local clubs have been scheduled. Practice will last for three weeks and will count for the Freshman exercise requirement.
