Hill has come through the first two rounds at the expense of Harvard players. In his first round he and his partner defeated Key and Mrs. Frank Godfrey, 7-5, 6-1, while yesterday they took the measure of Coggeshall and Mianne Palfrey in a hard-fought match, by a score of 4-6, 7-5, 6-3.
