LIBERAL CLUB ANNOUNCES ELECTION OF FIVE OFFICERS

Dewey, William James Lecturer to Speak at Club

The results of the Liberal Club elections, which were announced yesterday, are as follows: D. H. Popper '32, president; R. S. Lehman '34, secretary: and an executive committee composed of E. Y. Harishorne '33, William Stix '32, and A. R. Whitman '34.

Dr. John Dewey, William James lecturer at Harvard, and professor of Philosophy, Emeritus, of Columbia University, has consented to speak on an undetermined date before a meeting to be held under the joint auspices of the Liberal and Socialist Clubs. The subject of the talk will be on some political topic of interest to undergraduates. The meeting will be open to all members of the University.
