A smoking room for the use of professors, tutors, and students has been installed in the basement of the Peabody Museum, it was announced yesterday at the Museum. One of the empty rooms in the Geological section has been given over for the purpose, and has been fitted out with comfortable leather-up-holstered chairs and other appropriate furniture. The smoking room, which will be open every day from 9 until 5 o'clock, has been adequately protected against fire as required by law.
