Defeats Mason in the Finals of Dunster Contest--House Team Beats Newton Y. M. C. A. 3 to 1

N. F. Glidden '31 yesterday won the Dunster House squash tournament by defeating Professor E. S. Mason, 15-12, 8-15, 17-15, 15-13, in a match played yesterday afternoon at the Dunster House courts. The tournament commenced before Christmas with a field of 96 members of Dunster House, including students and tutors. Glidden's name will be engraved on the sterling silver cup, recently given by an anonymous donor, which stands in a showcase of the House dining room.

Playing four of its five matches yesterday, the Dunster squash team, in Class D. division A. of the Massachusetts State Squash League, was victor over Newton Y. M. C. A., 3 to 1. The fifth match, which cannot alter the winner, will be played Friday afternoon.

The summary: J. L. Sullivan (N) defeated A. F. Dana '33, 3-2; R. F. Evans '33 defeated K. W. Seeritson (N), 3-0; O. M. Nicholas '32 defeated E. G. Bates (N), 3-1; J. W. Appel '32 defeated M. L. Moody (N), 3-2.
