NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

For the first time, the ascent of Mont Blanc, the highest peak in Western Europe (15,780 feet high) will be filmed. This summer, H. B. Washburn '33, and W. C. Everett '33 will make the arduous ascent. The filming will include scenes in the valley as well as a complete narrative account of the climbing of the famous mountain.

In 1929, Washburn led an expedition to the Alps to film the ascent of the Grepon, and another last summer to Alaska which did important exploration in the Fairweather Range and produced a film of the ascent.
